Chiyaan Vikram Unveils ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ on His 57th Birthday
Chiyaan Vikram revealed a new film on his 57th birthday, April 17.
The title of the film is ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’.
The film’s release date has yet to be announced.
SU Arun Kumar directs ‘Veera Dheera Sooran,’ with producer Riya Shibu bringing it to life under the HR Pictures banner, while GV Prakash provides the music.
Releasing alongside the announcement, a teaser showcased Vikram’s gritty portrayal as the gangster named Kaali, revealing his rustic appearance. The film promises to be an action-packed drama.
Accompanying the title teaser of Chiyaan 62, the makers of “Veera Dheera Sooran” also unveiled a new poster. The poster, shared by the actor on his official Instagram handle, depicts Chiyaan Vikram wielding two long sickles in each hand. He posted the picture with the caption, “If you’re a Gangsta..I’m a Monsta!!”
Pa Panjith directs Vikram’s upcoming film “Thangalaan,” which promises to unveil ‘the real story’ behind Karnataka’s Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). The producers asserted that the movie will disclose the reason behind the British terming India ‘sone ki chidiya’.
Thangalaan: Uncovering KGF’s Heroic Resistance
Based on true events, Thangalaan delves into how the inhabitants of KGF defended the mines against British occupation.
Moreover, the film delves into how locals resisted colonial exploitation, portraying 19th-century events before Independence through various strategic endeavors.
Announced on Pongal, the release of Thangalaan in April this year marks Vikram’s next project following Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2. The film boasts a stellar cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohannan, Pasupathi, Muthukumar, Hari Krishnan, Preethi, Arjun Prabhakaran, and Hollywood actor Daniel Goldragon. GV Prakash is behind the film’s music. Produced by Studio Green in collaboration with Suriya’s Kanguva, Thangalaan will hit screens in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, alongside Tamil.
