Early Life of Smriti Irani
Smriti’s childhood was spent in Delhi and she completed her school at Holy and Child Auxilium School. She did her graduation from the School of Open Learning, at Delhi University. Political Life
Smriti Zubin Irani’s political career started in the year 2003 when she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and contested elections from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency of Delhi. After this, in 2011, she was elected Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat. In the year 2019, the BJP fielded her in the general elections from Amethi against Rahul Gandhi. Smriti Irani destroyed the fort of Congress and defeated Rahul Gandhi in his ancestral stronghold.
