From Engineering Student to Bollywood Star: Happy birthday, Vicky Kaushal!

Today, May the 16th, 2024, turns out to be Vicky Kaushal’s 35th Birthday, who is a heartthrob of Bollywood. Being born and brought up in Mumbai, Vicky’s path to stardom wasn’t easy but smooth. Although his father, Sham Kaushal, was a remarkable action director; Vicky’s first step following the same footsteps was towards academics.

A Bachelor’s Degree and a Growing Desire

Calling himself a “regular boy,” Vicky not only succeeded in his classes but also received a degree in engineering from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, a reputable institute. That chance came in 2015 in the form of Neeraj Ghaywan’s directorial debut “Masaan. ” Vicky played the character of a young man struggling with love and caste in a small Indian town.
