In Mumbai on April 4th, Jackie Shroff humorously referred to himself as Bhidu Shakespeare while imparting some summer vacation advice, which he affectionately calls “tippani.”
“Bhidu” is a colloquial term in Mumbai to affectionately address a friend or acquaintance.
Jackie Shroff, taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), shared: “Summer vacation aa raha hai bhai log. Uske bare mein kuch TIPPANI dena chahunga. Ek Chhat pe Chidiya ke liye paani aur apne bachon ke liye kuch…… batata hoon #BhiduShakespeare (Summer vacations are approaching, folks. I’d like to share some tips. I’ll tell you something for the birds on the rooftop and something for your children… #BhiduShakespeare).”
The actor shared a post featuring a picture of himself, along with the message: “Abey cricket match ki innings chhod… apne life ki innings ko sambhal (Forget about the innings in the cricket match, manage your life innings – Bhidu Shakespeare).”
In upcoming film projects, Jackie Shroff is set to appear alongside Varun Dhawan in ‘Baby John’.
Regarding the movie
Varun Dhawan will showcase a commanding action persona in “Baby John” after a considerable hiatus. His demeanor in the initial glimpse video exudes a sense of danger and ferocity. Initially named VD18, the film’s title had not been finalized. Recently, Varun sustained injuries to his legs during filming. Following the massive success of “Jawan,” there has been significant anticipation surrounding this collaboration between Atlee and Varun Dhawan.
Atlee is presenting “Baby John,” with A. Kaliswaran serving as the director. Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande are also contributing as presenters for the film. Produced under the banners of Jio Studios, Atlee’s A for Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios, “Baby John” features Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in prominent roles. The theatrical release of the film is scheduled for May 31.
