During the filming of the Kannada action thriller ‘Bagheera,’ actor Srii Murali, known as the Roaring Star among his fans, sustained a leg injury. The movie, directed by Dr. Suri and produced by the renowned banner Hombale Films, known for Pan-India blockbusters like the KGF series, Kantara, and Salaar, stars Srii Murali and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles.
Penned by Prashant Neel, director of the KGF series, ‘Bagheera’ marks his collaboration with actor Srii Murali, who gained recognition through the acclaimed film ‘Ugramm.’ This movie served as a breakthrough for both Neel and Murali, propelling their careers forward.
Second Injury Strikes
Pinning hopes on the action thriller penned by Prashanth Neel, Srii Murali, launched in 2022, faces a setback. Reports indicate that he sustained a leg injury while executing a crucial stunt on set, requiring treatment at a private hospital in Mysuru.
This incident marks the actor’s second injury during filming, having previously suffered injuries. In January 2023, while filming a fighting sequence for Bagheera at Rockline Studio in Bengaluru, he sustained knee injuries. Subsequently, he underwent surgery and received advice for bed rest, leading to the postponement of the film’s shooting to later dates.
Madhagaja was the actor’s most recent release.
After his appearance in the December 2021 release “Madhagaja,” directed by S.Sources indicate the actor’s dedication to the project, which also features Rukmini Vasanth, Prakash Raj, Achyuth Kumar, and Garuda Ram. The teaser for “Bagheera” dropped four months ago on the actor’s birthday, garnering positive feedback from fans across various social media platforms.

As reported by OTT Play, Bagheera has completed 60 percent of its shooting process. Sources indicate that the makers are working tirelessly to conclude the filming schedule promptly. Alongside Sriimurali, the film features Rukmini Vasanth in her first collaboration with both Sriimurali and Hombale Films. Directed by Dr. Suri, renowned for the 2012 romance-comedy Lucky starring Yash, Bagheera has its script penned by KGF director Prashanth Neel.
AJ Shetty takes on the role of Director of Photography, while B Ajaneesh provides the music for Bagheera. Speculations suggest that Sriimurali will portray a police officer in the film directed by Dr. Suri. Further plot details remain undisclosed.
According to sources, the next schedule of Bagheera will take place in Mysuru.
