Beginning on July 27, the network will showcase a retrospective of Saturday night entertainment programs covering the last 50 years, giving viewers a nostalgic look back.

    Inaugural Episode of Strictly

During the BBC’s Olympic programming, the classic entertainment season will be broadcast on BBC Four and iPlayer for three Saturday nights. Included in the schedule of Strictly Come Dancing is the final installment of Sir Michael Parkinson’s chat show of the same name, which debuted on the BBC before moving to ITV in 2004. The last BBC version included interviews with Irish band The Corrs, tennis player Boris Becker, and Sir Bruce.
