After months of waiting, Zee Studio, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures have released information about the upcoming Dhadak 2. Taking the mantle of the main characters are Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri who will bring a new and interesting dynamic to the screen.
The previous film with the title, Dhadak was released recently in 2016 and was even a Hindi remake of the Marathi film Sairat. Although criticized by some audiences for being a hot favorite for remakes, Dhadak with Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor graduated at the top of expectations gave a thrilling theme of love between two stars with dissimilar backgrounds. Well, Dhadak 2 comes as its spoiler, the movie which has taken over from where the success of the first film stopped.
The talented Triptii Dimri from the Blockbuster movie Bulbbul & Qala and the upcoming movie Laila Majnu and the fierce Laila and her charm increase the charm of Dhadak two. Yet another leading actor is Siddhant Chaturvedi who earned rave reviews in Gully Boy and Gehraiyaan and Phone Bhoot takes on the lead role in Dhadak 2.
Love Storiyaan has already established a new founder in Shazia Iqbal by giving her a new short story Dhadak 2 is about the unusual and suspense love that wants to break barriers but fails. Another major theme that the film explores is the persisting caste system in India despite the country’s progressive development.
