The creator of the incredibly popular superhuman television series, The Boys, as stated by Eric Kripke, will conclude in its fifth season. It began airing on May 16, 2013, and the fourth season premiered on Thursday, June 13. Rich with meanings and citizens’ dark satire of society, the popular drama takes place in the world of superheroes.

On Tuesday, Kripke shared a screenshot that reeled from X, now Twitter, of the hidden version of the last scene of Season 4. He wrote, “#TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: In response to that, the showrunners took it to their Twitter and said “Breaking News: There is going to be a Season 5 and it will be the Final Season. ”
Kripke further said, “Always my plan, I just had to be sly until I received the word from Vought. As promised, an on-theme post from Kripke excitedly invited everyone to watch season 4 because the end has started.
Renewal and Speculation
Amazon’s Prime Video renewed The Boys for another season in May this year, this means there will be a fifth season of the series, but fan-made petitions are already indicating that this season may very well be the last. Back in May 2019, Kripke himself stated publicly that he required at least five seasons to properly tell the story. No sequence was provided when the renewal announcement was made in May that Season 5 would be the final installment.

Kripke has a history of writing long-term plots in his sleeves. He initially conceived for five years for the show Supernatural; however, the show was on for fifteen years. In an interview to Entertainment Weekly, Kripke shared his excitement stating, “It’s nice for me to get work and finally do what I had planned for the series five seasons. ”

As you know, The Boys – the exceptional series – will return for its fourth season on the 13th of June this year exclusively on Prime Video. The Boys has been developed for television by Eric Kripke, and it is inspired by the New York Times best-selling comic book series of the same name created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson who are also the showrunners. Created and written by Eric Kripke who is also a writer of this show. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, Judalina Neira, Ken F Levin, Jason Netter are other executive producers.

Kripke officially announced today that the latter will conclude with the fifth season of the show. He scribbled on X, “Season 5 will be the Final Season! Always my plan, I just had to be coy until I got the green light from Vought! Can’t wait to wrap up the story in a bloody, epic, sweaty mess! Watch Season 4 in 2 DAYS folks, because the end is near!”
Kripke revealed to fans in 2020 a general outline of the plot that, in his mind, encompasses five seasons of The Boys. At this time, however, he admitted, “But I also know better than to say how many seasons a show is gonna have. ” In fact, in an interview with SFX Magazine, Kripke affirmed that he knew the ending, but would not commit to the exact number of seasons.
This is true as the fans wait for the subsequent episodes in the series in season 4 and the last season 5. Boys, Season 4, starts on June 13, 2022, exclusively on Prime Video.
