Recently, Hrithik Roshan posted on his Instagram profile dancing with his daughter in a video on the occasion of the 20-year-old ‘Lakshya. ’ He also posted some moments to freshen up the memories of the film. He penned, “Here is the journey of a film that opened millions of dreams and shaped generations, rewinding to ‘Lakshya’ which completes 20 years on June 21, releasing in cinemas.

Lakshya was released in 2004 and it is nicely based on Kargil War. It was interesting to know from IMDB that when the director Farhan Akhtar visited the Indian Military Academy 15 years after the shooting of the film ‘Lakshya’, 70% of the young cadets stated that they joined the Indian army after being inspired by the film ‘Lakshya. ‘ Though the film can be watched for entertainment, it has a strong motivational appeal as well.
Even Amitabh Bachchan and actress Preity Zinta recorded the same video message and posted on Instagram with the same caption.
