    Janhvi Kapoor: “Luxury from Mom Sridevi Feels Like a Hollow Existence”

    Janhvi Kapoor recently opened up about the extravagant lifestyle that her parents, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor had showered upon her and how she has always wanted to lead a more normal life.

    Janhvi Kapoor who is presently busy with the promotion of her film Mr and Mrs Mahi was recently asked about her sheltered upbringing and to this, she said that her mother Sridevi after working all her life wanted her children to live a royal life. Janhvi stated she feels that such type of existence is ‘empty,’ and this scares her as she criticizes those who don’t strive to get experiences.     In a recent interaction with Ranveer Allahbadia, the ‘Dhadak’ actress said, “I want to be wealthy in my soul,” further explaining, “I want a lot more from life emotionally than just the comforts that would have been easily offered to me. ”Janhvi continued about the sheltered life she had been living and said, “I want to be enriched, I want my well to be full of experiences. I have lived a very sheltered life. Mom and Dad have been very overprotective of me and I think as a result of that, I seek experiences a lot more because I feel it was kept from me. ”

    Janhvi further stated her mother used to have this opinion right that because she had struggled much, Janhvi and her sister, Khushi should live a comfortable life. “Mom’s logic of course was that had I not lived so much, seen so much, done so much, I could give my kids comfort and luxury;- comfort and luxury of ignorance and a boring life without even the curiosity to seek the truth as Aslan sees it and as he says to encourage our people to behave ‘There is a part of you that you hesitate to ask, a part of you that you worry is useless, and this is the

    Following that, Janhvi took some time to get to know herself and decide on what she wants in life She added that she needs to push herself and look for things that are challenging for her. The 27-year-old starring in the upcoming “Mr & Mrs Mahi” opined that mid-range cinema requires greater patronage from producers and potential viewers to grow. Kapoor, who desires strong characters to perform in, argued that the post-pandemic consumption patterns have changed drastically and impacted how directors do things.     In “Mr & Mrs Mahi,” Kapoor portrays Dr. Mahima, who transitions from a physician to a cricket player after her husband convinces her. Directed by Sharan Sharma, who previously worked with Kapoor on “Gunjan Saxena: The major strength of the movie “The Kargil Girl,” the type of filmmaking Kapoor is keen on. Nonetheless, Kapoor remains positive with regard to the film’s ticket sales, stating that every movie has its niche that becomes its target public over time.
