On X, trade expert Taran Adarsh revealed that Kalki 2898 AD garnered in ₹27.5 crore just from Hindi sales. Despite India and England’s semi-final encounter, he noted, the picture went well.

“East, West, North,” wrote Taran. Naturally, the #Kalki2898AD wave from the South is sweeping the country. The best aspect is that the movie premiered to great reviews at Tier-2 and Tier-3 theaters. If this pattern holds true, the large audience sizes will contribute to #Kalki2898AD’s eventual strong performance. [First Week] Thu. ₹ 22.50 cr Nett BOC. #Boxoffice #India business. NOTE: Only data from the Hindi version. Day 1 Gross BOC: ₹ 27.5 cr [#Hindi] in India ₹ 190 cr [all languages] worldwide.

    “Not for the documentation.”

Producer Swapna Dutt Chalasani posted on X after Kalki 2898 AD’s premiere, stating that the movie was done for the love of movies, not for record breaking. “It’s very amazing that people are calling or asking, Did we cross records?” according to a message she provided. The reason it’s funny is because the men who make these recordings never make movies based on them. We produce for the viewership. We create for the enjoyment of movies. We followed suit.

    Regarding Kalki in 2898 AD

The bounty hunter Bhairava (Prabhas) in Kalki 2898 AD aspires to accumulate enough units to reside in the Complex. The movie, which is set 6000 years after Indian mythology—more especially, the Mahabharata—combines science fiction elements with that tale. Amitabh plays Ashwatthama, who travels the world in an attempt to atone for his transgressions by aiding Kalki, Vishnu’s last avatar. Kamal portrays Supreme Yaskin, while Deepika plays SU-M80.
