    Bollywood actors “Devastated” by Tragic Attack on Pilgrims in Reasi

    Following the horrific tragedy in Reasi, Priyanka Chopra is “devastated.” The actor wrote, “This horrific attack on innocent pilgrims is horrific” in a recent post.

    Officials announced on Monday that a manhunt is underway for terrorists who carried out the fatal attack on pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed nine lives, including a two-year-old. Actor Priyanka Chopra responded to the news by reposting an Instagram post in which she discussed the “hatred” that is being observed.

    “Destroyed. This brutal attack on defenseless pilgrims is abhorrent. Why the children and civilians? The hatred that exists in the world is so difficult to understand,” the user stated on Instagram Stories.

    Other celebrities have also commented on the attack calling it a dastardly attack risking the lives of innocent individuals and children. Bollywood celebrities Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Varun Dhawan, Kapil Sharma, and Richa Chaddha took to social media calling the act shameful.

    Information on the Reasi assault

    Fresh organization Terrorists opened fire on a 53-seater bus on Sunday evening as it was traveling from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. The bus veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge close to Teryath village in the Poni area of Reasi, leaving nine people dead and 41 injured, according to PTI. The bus was transporting pilgrims from Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.

    The National Investigation Agency (NIA), the Army, the police, and central intelligence agencies all worked together to conduct a coordinated operation after the incident. After first taking credit for the attack, the Resistance Front (TRF), a front organization for the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization, eventually withdrew its statement.

    Two-year-old Titu Sawhney and his mother Pooja from Rajasthan are among the victims of the incident. They were two of the four state residents who perished in the assault. Uttar Pradesh was the native state of three of the dead. Among the dead were the bus’s conductor and driver, who were both from Reasi.

    Five of the nine dead, according to the officials, suffered gunshot wounds. Ten of the 41 injured individuals in the incident had bullet wounds, they continued. Several individuals hurt were receiving medical attention at hospitals located in the districts of Jammu and Reasi.
