After a decade the demise of her father, Ashok Chopra, Priyanka Chopra went to her Instagram to upload an emotional clip. The actress wrote, ‘The light of every room. You’re still our brightest light dad. 11 years without you and it still doesn’t feel like a real. Thinking of you today and every day. I love you. Forever. Hold your loved ones close and tell them that you love them. Time is short. ’
How Priyanka Chopra handles situations without father
During her recent interview with Clay & Rob from the Read The Room podcast, Priyanka Chopra opened up about her father’s death and how she deals with it. Recalling that period, the actress said that it was that gradually she started understanding that such grief does not disappear and becomes a companion for life after the death of her father. She was clear that waiting for the day when it will not hurt anymore or cease to impact one is unproductive, as the healing does not work that way.
She said that she sometimes has those days when the sorrow hits her very hard and stays with her for a while, and other days when she does not think or feel sad much, but then a picture suddenly reminds her of the pain. Chopra went on to point out that be it any type of grief, it has a time when it becomes your friend and one has to learn to deal with it.

In the context of work, the latest film by Priyanka Chopra that has been shot is Heads of State, and at present, she is shooting for the film The Bluff.
There is Citadel – a spy thriller where PeeCee shall be performing as Nadia Sinh, alongside Richard Madden.
