Border 2: In JP Dutta’s highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed military drama Border (1997), Sunny Deol will reprise her role as the main character.
Sunny Deol is scheduled to play the same legendary role from JP Dutta’s hit war movie Border, which came out in 1997. To the delight of his admirers, the actor posted the announcement video on his Instagram account on Thursday. Anurag Singh will serve as the director of Border 2.

In the latest video, Sunny provided the narration. The announcement trailer, which was supposed to be India’s largest war film, ended with the famous song Sandese Aaate Hain by Sonu Nigam and Roopkumar Rathod from the first movie. Sunny added more information about the movie in the caption, stating that Anurag Singh would be directing it and that Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta will be producing. Films include Punjab 1984, Kesari, Jatt & Juliet, and Dil Bole Hadippa! have been directed by Anurag.

Esha Deol responded with a heart-shaped emoticon and an arm-flexing one, while Suniel Shetty used red heart emoticons to comment. “Can’t wait!” a fan wrote. Sunny had previously revealed on The Ranveer Show that he intended to launch Border 2 in 2015. But it was stalled because the producers were afraid and his initial release did not perform well at the box office.
In Gadar 2, Sunny was last observed. Gadar 2, directed by Anil Sharma, was a follow-up to the 2001 hit film in which Sunny played truck driver Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel played Sakina. At the Indian box office, it brought in over ₹450 crore, making it a huge success.
