Natasha Diddee, a well-known food blogger who went by the moniker “The Gutless Foodie,” passed away in Pune on Sunday. Ms. Diddee was a chef by trade and didn’t have a stomach, based on her social media bio. When revealing the news of Ms. Diddee’s loss on Instagram, her husband posted, “That Heartbreaking Announcement…” “It is with great pain and sorrow that I am forced to announce the sad and heartbreaking passing of my wife Natasha Diddee, aka The Gutless Foodie,” he wrote in a note.
It is unknown what caused Ms. Diddee to pass away. In earlier interviews, she had disclosed experiencing a number of medical issues. These included nausea, diarrhea, and fatigue or lightheadedness after meals. Because of gastrointestinal tumors that had grown there, she also had her entire stomach removed.
Her husband stated that the Instagram account @thegutlessfoodie will remain active and open. He acknowledged that her posts and stories inspire many people. He noted that her recipes and published content continue to inspire her followers. Her followers frequently return for more inspiration.
Instagram users expressed their condolences in the comments section. She was one of the first quality accounts I followed on Instagram when I initially signed up, back before the platform gained any traction. Learning about her struggles with the illness made me even more motivated. It’s truly tragic. One user commented, “I hope you and the family find the strength to deal with this tragic loss.”
