Jalandhar Dehat Police Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ankur Gupta declared, “Lovepreet, Harpreet, and Sandeep Arora, three individuals, have been taken into custody. They were taken into custody last night, according to ANI. According to PTI, Singh, who is between the ages of 30 and 35, “was into some dispatching work in transport.”

Allegations and Conspiracy Theories
“This is a conspiracy against our family, aides, and supporters of Amritpal Singh,” Amritpal Singh’s father said to PTC. We already suspect that this plot to discredit us is being orchestrated by the administration. This is what governments do to cover up their mistakes. This is intended to thwart Amritpal Singh’s objective to save the youth and create obstacles in the way of the Bandi Singhs’ release. He continued, “This is nothing new” . The Punjab police have a history of engaging in fictitious encounters and bogus accusations, as we previously know.
Amritpal Singh’s Political Background
Amritpal Singh is incarcerated at the moment in the Dibrugarh district of Assam. Singh ran for and won the Punjabi parliamentary constituency of Khadoor Sahib as an independent candidate in the most recent 2024 Lok Sabha elections. With a staggering margin of 1,97,120 votes, he defeated Congressman Kulbir Singh Zira, his closest opponent. A few weeks after Singh eluded authorities and a strict National Security Act injunction was made against him, Punjab police detained him in April of last year. The Jailed Waris Punjab De activist was flown to New Delhi on a dedicated airplane on July 5th in order to be sworn in as a Member of Parliament.
