Financial Support for Schools
Additionally, the schools have been given 37 crore rupees for this. Minister Madan Dilawar has urged people to plant five saplings for motorcyclists, ten for automobile owners, and fifty for those whose homes have air conditioning. Before the show, Education Minister Madan Dilawar told a press conference that Rajasthan’s temperature had reached 55 degrees.
Nowhere in Rajasthan was the temperature lower than 47 degrees. The District Collector and other officials would receive recommendations if the temperature exceeded 48. For us, this temperature is a red flag. It warns us that humanity’s survival is in jeopardy if things do not get better. For this reason, to rescue our family and ourselves, we must plant trees. The temperature will drop as a result.
Impact on Temperature and Economy
Over its lifetime, a tree can yield an income of 4-5 crore rupees. Additionally, by providing oxygen, the temperature around it can be lowered by 4-5 degrees. Rajasthan is home to seven of the world’s fifteen cities with the highest temperatures. As a result, our function is crucial. We have made an effort to unite the movement.
According to the minister, one NREGA employee will water and maintain the 200 trees in that area. The campaign will cost us 37 crore rupees. For primary education, each school will receive Rs 15,000, for intermediate education, Rs 35,000, and for higher secondary education, Rs 55,000. To raise awareness, the government appointed 17 persons as brand ambassadors.
Holders of ACs will Plant Fifty Trees
The government has set goals for various societal groups to plant trees. Five trees will be planted by motorcyclists, ten by automobile owners, and fifty by homeowners with air conditioning units. Owners of gas stations and petrol pumps will plant 300 trees, while industrial facilities will plant trees based on the number of workers. Additionally, planting trees will be required of schoolchildren based on the size of their households. First-grade teachers will plant fifteen trees, second-grade teachers ten, and third-grade teachers five.
