On Monday, the Aam Aadmi Party made a significant accusation against the BJP, saying that it had “endangered” the life of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Delhi minister Atishi took a savage stance against the BJP, declaring that it should “stop playing with” and “stop doing politics” about the health of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
“The BJP can stoop to such a level that they brought some documents before the media through Tihar jail administration, stating that there are no issues with Kejriwal’s health,” the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister stated in a video speech that was released on X. However, the BJP should understand that no matter how much they lie, the truth always wins out.”

AAP’s Accusations
“I would like to tell the BJP – stop playing with the life of Arvind Kejriwal, stop doing politics over his health,” she stated. “A report by Tihar Jail medical officer is one of the documents released by the BJP,” Atishi stated. This research demonstrates quite plainly how they are jeopardizing Arvind Kejriwal’s health. Kejriwal may get a cerebral stroke or perhaps go into a coma if his blood sugar levels continue to plummet.”
On July 13, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh stated that the Chief Minister had lost 8.5 kg of weight and that, five times since his detention, his blood sugar level had fallen below 50 mg/dL. The AAP’s claims on Arvind Kejriwal’s health were denied by Tihar Jail officials. The authorities had released a statement that claimed, “Despite a slight weight loss, his vitals remain normal, and he receives appropriate medical care for all his ailments”.
Dispute Over Health Reports
Atishi claimed that the AAP president had been detained in a “false case” by the BJP using “their political tool,” the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The Central Bureau of Investigation was one of their “political tools” that they used to arrest him, she added, because they assumed he would be released from custody given that a trial judge had granted him bail and the Supreme judge was also likely to do the same.
“The BJP wants to harm his body and health irreversibly. She continued, “Kejriwal has had diabetes for thirty years. Sanjay Singh had earlier in the day rejected the Tihar jail’s findings and asserted that the prison administration had broken the law by disclosing an inmate’s medical report.

Conclusion
Although Kejriwal’s judicial detention in a corruption case was prolonged by a Delhi court until July 25, the Chief Minister remains in Tihar jail despite the Supreme Court having granted him interim bail in the ED case.
