Following his “batenge to katenge” remarks about Bangladesh, opposition lawmakers in Uttar Pradesh accused Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of dividing the populace on Monday.

In response to Yogi Adityanath’s remarks, Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, claimed that Adityanath was using bulldozers to destroy Muslim homes and charged him with making anti-Muslim remarks.

When he was the one dividing, he used to say “thok denge,” but now he says “batenge to katenge.” Owaisi stated, “He is expressing all of this because he is aware that his party members wish to have him removed, which demonstrates his insecurity and unpopularity in Uttar Pradesh. While Yogi wants to be prime minister, Samajwadi Party head and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav stressed that he should stay out of foreign issues, which are the purview of New Delhi.

“The chief minister has already taken similar action on several occasions. He’s done it before, too. “I hope ‘Delhi-wale’ will help him realize that he shouldn’t meddle in decisions made in Delhi,” Akhilesh remarked. Earlier in the day, Adityanath gave a speech in Agra where he emphasized the value of “unity” and gave advice on how to avoid the mistakes made in Bangladesh.

How far has Bangladesh come? How far has it come? Hi honi chahiye wo galtiyan yahan nahi. From batenge to katenge. Ek rahenge to nek rahenge, surakshit rahenge aur samriddhi ki parakashtha jo pahuchenge. (Are you aware of the events taking on in Bangladesh? These errors ought not to occur at this place. There will be repercussions if we discuss division”, said Chief Minister Yogi.

He also emphasized the aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by 2047 and the need for everyone to work together to achieve this goal. PM Modi’s “panch-pran” (five resolves) was further mentioned by Adityanath, who stated, “Modi has pledged to remove all symbols of slavery, honor our soldiers and heroes, and work towards unity and solidarity.” Nobody will be permitted to incite hatred in our community.
