- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be sworn in along with other new members of his cabinet tomorrow evening at Rashtrapati Bhawan in the Union capital. He shall be the first three-term Prime Minister to occupy the office of the premier since the founder of the Congress party and the foremost independence freedom fighter, Jawaharlal Nehru.
- Security has been strengthened in Rashtrapati Bhawan where he will be sworn in by President Droupadi Murmu through a three-barrier system. Anticipating the event, Delhi Police officials informed that the SWAT team along with commandos belonging to the National Security Guard (NSG) will be posted near the venue as well as at other sensitive areas since the capital city is on high alert throughout the event.

- It is expected that heads of state of many neighboring countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius, and Seychelles, along with the Maldives will attend the swearing-in ceremony to underline India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy.
