Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is now on a two-day official visit to Russia, to address the Indian community. After interacting with the Indian diaspora in Russia, PM Modi will visit the Rosatom pavilion at an exposition location in Moscow and lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Kremlin.
At the Russian President’s official speech yesterday, the two leaders had a meeting where they discussed important international issues. PM Modi and President Putin will meet for the sixteenth time in the last ten years; their last in-person meeting took place in 2022 at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Putin Compliments the PM in Russia During a “Private Engagement”Â
During a “private engagement” on Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his official house in Novo-Ogaryovo and praised the visiting Indian leader for his contributions to the nation’s advancement. “I’d want to congratulate you on winning the prime ministership again. Putin said to PM Modi, I think this is not an accident, but the result of your work over many years”.
“You think for yourself. Putin remarked, “You are an extremely driven individual who can accomplish things for India and the Indian people. “The outcome is clear.” “India is unquestionably the third-largest economy in the world,” Russian news reported Putin as stating.
US Demands That India to assert Territorial Integrity of Ukraine
“We would urge India, as we do any country when it engages with Russia, to make clear that any resolution to the conflict in Ukraine needs to respect the UN Charter, that respects Ukraine’s territorial integrity,” stated US Department of State Spokesperson Matthew Miller on Tuesday.
