Controversy Erupts on Shark Tank India 3: Vibhuti Arora Takes Aim at Namita Thapar’s Comment

Shark Tank: India offers a venue where prospective business owners can present their concepts and strategies to potential investors, referred to as “sharks.” With so many creative company ideas being showcased, this season is particularly fascinating.

Pitcher Vibhuti Arora recently answered Namita Thapar’s inquiry about their divergent thought processes on social media. Vibhuti’s company, which provides natural skincare treatments and seeks funding, was the main focus of the pitch.

Shark Tank India season three featured Vibhuti Arora’s presentation of House of Cosmetics India, her line of face yoga and cosmetics. Her focus was on providing natural skincare solutions as a substitute for cosmetic surgery. She also recommended bringing on face yoga instructors with certification.

Namita Thapar questioned her, “Main toh bahut yoga follow karti hun,” after hearing her pitch. There are a ton of videos of face yoga online, but what are the actual classes like? How are you spending your time? (I practice yoga a lot. Since there are so many face yoga videos online, why should we take your lessons? “What are you going to do differently?”

According to Vibhuti, 90% of the face yoga videos that you see are certified by me. Maine Institute establishes kar diya face yoga school ke naam se (First off, 90% of face yoga videos you see are taught by me). I have established Face Yoga School as an institution.”

Following her appearance on Shark Tank India 3, Vibhuti Arora made the decision to answer the same query on social media. She emphasized the different viewpoints that Namita and she had by doing this.

“Agar aap ek teacher ko kahoge Namita ji ki aapka student hi aapka competition banega toh hum ek dusre ko educate kaise karenge?” she asks in a short video that she published. (How will we educate each other if you tell a teacher, Namita ji, that your pupil will become your competitor?)”

Furthermore, she said, “Har competition in business ka nahi hota.” Not every business can compete. I believe that some businesses are made to work well together through synergy. ‘Namita’s opinions vs Mine’ opened the video. Not only that, but Vibhuti said, “Too bad the sharks only think about competition, not co-creation.”

“Wrote a book and launched @faceyogaschool_ to train teachers worldwide to carry out my vision,” she continued. And all I received in response was the statement, “I created my own competition,” from #namitathaper. Really? Vineeta is suggesting that I rename my brand from @houseofbeautyindia to @vibhutiarora_. Hmmmm! It’s about time women support one another instead of viewing one another as threats! How do you feel?
