Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and social media star Elvish Yadav has replied to the widely shared footage of him and his friends beating up YouTuber Sagar Thakur at a Delhi clothing store.
Plan first, then act the victim. My side of the story, which ought to be known by all. Yadav posted on Instagram, “Ram Ram.”
Sagar Thakur allegedly threatened to hurt Elvish Yadav and his family, according to a video posted on Instagram.
“Jinda jala dunga tujhe aur tere gharwale ko.” (I swear to burn you and your family members alive),” asserted Yadav. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner wanted Thakur to come to his house so they could go about their problems, so Thakur informed him this over the phone.
Such violent remarks directed towards his family, according to Elvish Yadav, infuriated him. In the video, he also questioned his fans’ reactions if someone made hurtful comments about their relatives.
“Will you hand them a matchstick and give them permission to burn your family and yourself alive? Can’t you become enraged?” In the Instagram video, Elvish Yadav posed the question.
The influencer on social media did not refute hitting the YouTuber. But since the location had been properly set up with cameras to film the altercation, he said that Thakur had made arrangements at the clothing store beforehand.
Elvish Yadav asserted, “You could understand from the viral video that he had even worn a mic.”
In an explanation of his version of events, Yadav said that Sagar Thakur had been making fun of him for the previous eight months and that the Bigg Boss influencer had just lately begun to reply to those in a “casual manner”. He expressed his desire to speak with Sagar Thakur and learn the motivations behind his constant mockery of Elvish Yadav.
“Thakur said, let’s get together. I replied, “All right, come to my house.” Yadav claimed, “I wanted to talk to him and find out his motivations for the ongoing trolling, as well as to clear everything out.
“Why should I beat you up in my own house when guests are treated like gods, I said him? However, he was afraid, so he asked me to meet him at his friend’s clothing store,” the Bigg Boss OTT 2 victor stated.
Later, Elvish Yadav claimed, he accepted Thakur’s suggestion to meet at the shop. In addition, he asserted that, contrary to Sagar Thakur’s assertion, Yadav’s allies attempted to diffuse the tension by pleading with the YouTuber to stop during the altercation.
“The Indian audience struggles with drawing conclusions too quickly after hearing only one side of an issue. You’ve all dubbed me a goon and a dacoit since the video came out, and you’ve even started the #ArrestElvishYadav trend.”In my opinion, it’s important to hear both sides of the story,” Elvish Yadav replied.
During the thrashing incident captured in the viral video, Sagar Thakur has claimed that Elvish Yadav attempted to damage his spine and render him crippled. In addition, he asserted that the police filed a FIR under the IPC’s bailable sections despite abundant evidence of a “attempt to murder,” raising concerns about whether the Haryana government was attempting to shield “criminals.”
Sagar Thakur called Elvish Yadav a “hypocrite” and made fun of him on social media after a photo of him warming up to Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui during a cricket match went viral. This led to the brawl between them.
Yadav, a strong advocate of Hindutva, faced backlash from his supporters over the photo he took with Munawar, who was detained in 2021 for allegedly making “indecent” comments about Hindu gods.
After meeting in Gurugram around 12.30 am, Yadav and Thakur claimed in a video posted on social media at around 2 am that they had been beaten up by the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and eight to ten other men. Later, he uploaded a video in which Yadav and his cronies were shown bashing Thakur inside a clothing store.
