His representatives informed The Hollywood Reporter that Chance Perdomo’s tragic motorcycle accident didn’t involve anyone else. They emphasized his profound love for the arts and life, asking for privacy as his family grieves their loss.
British-American actor Chance Perdomo, born in Los Angeles and raised in Southampton, gained acclaim for his role in a BBC Three drama. His performance in “Killed by My Debt,” earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the 2019 Bafta TV Awards.
The details of the accident remain undisclosed, with confirmation that no other individuals were involved. Perdomo’s versatility extended beyond his portrayal of warlock Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series. He also starred as Andre Anderson in Amazon Prime’s superhero show, “Gen V.”
After earning a Best Actor Bafta nomination that year, Perdomo expressed feeling “overwhelmed” by the reaction to “Killed by My Debt,” a docudrama depicting the tragic story of Jerome Rogers, a London motorcycle courier driven to suicide by financial hardship.
Before the Bafta awards ceremony in May 2019, Perdomo reportedly visited his former secondary school in Southampton to speak with Year 10 students, as stated by a local newspaper. Chance Perdomo’s performances in “Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina”, “Gen V” played a pivotal role in his rise in the US.
