Mixed Reactions as ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Maidaan’ Open Booking

With the much-anticipated release of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Maidaan’ approaching, Bollywood fans are gearing up for an action-packed Eid weekend. However, as advance booking for the films opened today, reports indicate a mixed response from audiences.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ features the dynamic duo of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Despite vigorous promotional efforts, the film seems to have opened to a relatively low buzz. According to reports from Sacnilk, the first day of advance booking saw the sale of 499 tickets, amounting to Rs 1.95 lakhs in revenue. With 841 shows scheduled across the country, the inclusion of block seat data brings the total earnings to approximately Rs 10.75 lakh.

In a parallel development, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’ also entered the fray with its first day of booking. The sports drama, inspired by the true story of Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, garnered Rs 7.37 lakh in bookings for its opening day.

The simultaneous release of these two highly anticipated films has sparked discussions about the potential clash at the box office. However, Ajay Devgn remains unfazed by the situation, stating, “I would not call it a clash. If you call it a clash, then it means that two films should not be released on the same day. But there are times when you have to do this. Both films are of different genres. We are all like a family, we are friends. We are not looking at it like a clash, we are looking at it like a big weekend and both the films will do well.”

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ promises to deliver adrenaline-pumping action sequences and high-octane drama, while ‘Maidaan’ offers a compelling narrative of determination and triumph in the world of sports. Despite the overlap in release dates, fans are eagerly anticipating both films and are gearing up for an exciting cinematic experience this Eid.

As audiences await the release of these two highly anticipated films, the box office battle between ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘ and ‘Maidaan’ is set to unfold, with each film vying for the audience’s attention and box office glory. Only time will tell which movie emerges victorious in this high-stakes showdown.
