    Moana Live-Action Movie: Disney Remake Full Updated Information

    The successful animated movie by Disney Moana has been on the lips of the public after The Rock, Dwayne Johnson revealed that be remade in live-action, with him being retained for Maui, the demigod who features in the story.

    In June Disney announced the list of actors to appear in the movie and Australian actress, Catherine Laga’aia is to portray the main character of the movie. As one of the newest Disney princess movies, is categorically regarded as one of the best. The captivating movie animates the life and the adventurous journey of Moana, the young girl who dreams of becoming a voyager and who has to save her village from a threat that looms large. During her journey, Moana encounters the egoistical Maui, the processed and self-absorbed referred to as the shape-shifting demigod who is convinced to guide her on her mission of discovering the lost Heart of Te Fiti.

    Moana Live-Action Movie Come Out

    It was also officially announced by Disney in June 2024 with the release date set at the 10th of July, 2026 in theaters. The shooting of the production started this summer and the announcement arrived following Dwayne Johnson in April of the year 2023 that the movie is in preparation via a cute IG post.

    Disney said in June 2024 that Catherine Laga’aia will play Moana’s main character. In addition, a number of Samoan and New Zealanders will appear with her, including Rena Owen as Gramma Tala, Frankie Adams as Moana’s mother Sina, and John Tui as Chief Tui, Moana’s father. Thomas Kail is the director of the film, and Seven Bucks Productions will produce it alongside Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia. In addition, songwriters Lin-Manuel Miranda and Beau Flynn, through Flynn Pictures Co., are producing the film.

    Live-Action Moana Storyline

    While the movie’s premise hasn’t been disclosed in detail, Live-Action is anticipated to stick to the 2016 film’s original narrative. Moreover, Johnson confirmed that many similar characters will return including Moana’s pet chicken Heihei.
