    • Rating: 3 / 5

One of the rare robo-coms ever produced in India is Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which was directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah and starred Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Despite having a brief running length of only 140 minutes, it is oddball, humorous, and engaging.

    Plot

Tech developer Aryan (Shahid Kapoor) is single and ready to get married, but he just can’t seem to locate the proper woman. In addition to being Aryan’s aunt, Urmila (Dimple Kapadia) founded E-Robotics, one of the top robotics companies in the United States. When Aryan travels to the USA for a project led by his aunt, he meets Kriti Sanon’s robot Sifra, with whom he eventually falls in love. The narrative that follows demonstrates Aryan’s coping mechanisms with his love for a robot and his efforts to conceal her identity from his family.

What works for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya:

The humorous Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya comes up first. You will laugh so hard at the film’s situational comedy, especially in the first part. It’s hilarious how Shahid Kapoor portrays a man who is utterly enamored with a robot. In the movie, Kriti Sanon’s portrayal of Sifra is believable and the source of many humorous moments. What sets Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya apart from being just another commercial potboiler is its innovative and original premise and treatment.  To the credit of the two protagonists, the songs are undoubtedly highly upbeat and go well with the graphics. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a short film that will primarily keep you interested and delighted at two hours and twenty minutes.

What doesn’t work for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya:

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya primarily relies on jokes and lacks significant conflicts. The second half of the movie is a little slower than the first, but it more than makes up for it with frequent moments that will make you laugh out loud. The first half of the movie is undoubtedly entertaining and has a good pace. The third act of the film becomes disorienting, with a few startling images toward the conclusion. The execution is a mess, but the conclusion makes sense. There is a hint of more at the abrupt conclusion and an anticlimactic vibe to the climax.

Performances in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya:

In this role, Shahid Kapoor excels in comedy as Aryan. He’s always a pleasure to watch.

As Sifra, Kriti Sanon demonstrates the restraint that comes with portraying a robot. In the majority of the sequences, she manages to make the audience laugh while looking stunning. But the writing fails her in the latter act, and the result is not very nice.

Dimple Kapadia is a solid supporting actor who plays aunt Urmila. It’s enjoyable to watch and a breath of fresh air to see Dharmedra in the role of the grandfather. In every scene, Ashish Verma, who plays Monty, Aryan’s pal, is incredibly amusing. Aryan’s family and other actors make things lighthearted and entertaining. Be alert for the unexpected appearance.

Final Verdict Of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya

Overall, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a lighthearted film that will have you laughing nonstop. Although the film’s final act is unimpressive, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya serves as a useful filler during this otherwise uninteresting scene. The Shahid-Kriti film is currently showing in a theater close to you. Subscribe now for more updates.
