As per the sensational news pouring in Kangana Ranaut the actress who is contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh has made her decision to quit Bollywood once she became the MP from that constituency. Kangna in an interview with Aaj Tak revealed that the film world is fake for her and she would hate to stay in the so-called film world after winning the elections.
The world of movies is a fantasy and everything that takes place there is deception. They create a markedly different atmosphere. It is more like a plastic world inside of a pill that attracts the audience. This I am afraid is the truth she said. Kangana was responding on the question of whether she can leave the film as well if she wins the elections.
She explained: ‘I have a fertile mind and I like being involved in things- it feels like a waste to concentrate on one work alone’. Kangana might face a challenge from another candidate Vikramaditya Singh taken from the ‘royal’ family who lost to the BJP but won by a large margin in 2009 polls and six-time former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s son. Mandi constituency will vote on the ballot come June.
During the campaigns, Kangana has made speeches against the Congress-led state government over the issue of abandonment of developmental projects and fraud on the masses of Mandi. So she said that her main focus would be to revitalize all hindered projects, and additionally support connectivity to out-of-the-way tribal areas.
Vikramaditya had hit out at Kangana during one of his political speeches and had claimed that she was visiting the city for political tourism and would be gone on June 4 soon afterward. He had proclaimed that the people of Mandi would be the proud beneficiaries of a smart city. The BJP party was able to win 12 assembly seats in the last 2022 assembly polls in Mandi Parliamentary Constituency.
She also called the film industry ‘fake’.
