Plot
Happily, Kabir (Ajay Devgn) leads a family of four. They make a halt at a dhaba on route to their farmland, where they meet Vanraj (R Madhavan). Vanraj charms them over right away with his easygoing and kind demeanor. As they get to know one another over tea and snacks, Vanraj gives Janvhi (Janki Bodiwala) a lethal laddoo, which forces her to follow his instructions. As they part ways, he subtly requests that she leave a packet of poisoned cookies in the car as they drive to their farmhouse. After pursuing them, he pushes his way inside the farmhouse. Soon after, he takes charge of the girl and manipulates her into acting strangely. Will Kabir be able to protect his family from Vanraj’s psychopathy? Watch the film to find that out.
What was in favour of Shaitaan?
Shaitaan provides an excellent balance of suspense and intense drama. Cutting to the chase doesn’t take long.
The family segments are happy and innocently playful. The use of the supernatural components is successful.
The post-climax and climax moments are both excellent. The movie would not have been able to have the positive impact that it has without the makers’ ability to create the necessary spooky mood.
The movie features some really great performances. The eerie background score elevates the viewing experience. Despite being strikingly similar to the Mahabarata subject “Hai Katha Sangram Ki,” the Shaitaan theme is well-developed.
What doesn’t work in favour of Shaitaan?
Shaitaan is longer than traditional Hindi releases, however because of its thin premise, it does become a little boring in the middle. Thankfully, the picture truly comes into its own during the astounding third act.
The impact of the movie is somewhat diminished because more artistic license is employed in this thriller than is optimal.
Other than what has been revealed, this clever supernatural-thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat has nothing genuinely wrong with it.
Performances in Shaitaan
The position of a family guy is expertly portrayed by Ajay Devgn in the role of Kabir. His greatest moments as a performer are when he is most exposed. His portrayal pays homage to his favorite Vijay Salgaokar character from Drishyam.
Literally, R Madhavan’s portrayal of Vanraj is lethal. He goes completely insane and tries everything it takes to make the audience detest him.
It’s amazing to see Janki Bodiwala as Janvhi. What an incredible performance she gave, one that will undoubtedly bring her notoriety and acclaim.
Jyothika portrays Neha as a defenseless mother with the greatest honesty and grace. You should be on the lookout for her combat scenario inside the crucial farmhouse.
The picture benefits from Aangad Raaj’s innocence as Dhruv, the small child. He is lovely.
Shaitaan’s final verdict
For a long time, Hindi filmgoers have been yearning for a reliable supernatural thriller, and this one does not disappoint. It has all the good things that make you think of Drishyam. Go now and purchase your Shaitaan tickets.
