Alongside Raghav Juyal, actor Lakshya Lalwani will play the lead role in the upcoming thriller “Kill.” The actor immerses himself in a suspenseful and disturbing story that should have viewers on the edge of their seats. Fans have been drawing comparisons between the film’s action scenes and those from “Train to Busan” and “John Wick” ever since the trailer was published. Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat responded to it exclusively in an interview with IndiaToday.in, stating that although he is humbled by the comparisons, he really looked to James Cameron’s “Aliens” for inspiration when making the film.

“When people compare ‘Kill’ to ‘John Wick’ or ‘Train to Busan,’ I feel incredibly humbled because these are such great, landmark films,” Nikhil revealed that the action scenes in the movie are a response to the characters’ feelings. Such movies have an unavoidable influence on viewers.

But Kill is more than just an action movie in my opinion. It’s an intense movie, in my opinion, with a really strong emotional storyline. Action, in my opinion, is merely a response to the feelings we go through. Kill is based on James Cameron’s science fiction blockbuster “Aliens,” not any other action movie, Nikhil informed us.

“Like in ‘Aliens,’ the narrative was driven by powerful inversions where the aliens are protecting their young ones and Ellen Ripley protects the young girls, so both sides are fuelled with deep emotional currents,” the director went on to explain why this is the case. Kill takes a similar route as well. You will realize that it forces you to take a side once you see it. It will come as no surprise that you will be forced to choose a side; in fact, your decision will begin to waver. So, rather than the movies it is being compared to, I find inspiration in a whole different kind of film.”
