Today in Mumbai, the director will arrive as the special guest to present the trailer for their surrogate mother-based movie.

The director team previously collaborated with Vanga as dialogue writers and lyricists of the Animal song Satranga in his film Kabir Singh. In addition to writing lyrics for movies like Bajirao Mastani (Pinga, Deewani Mastani, Mohe Rang Do Laal), Padmaavat (Nainowale Ne), and others, they have been connected to films such as Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Raabta, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and Batti Gul Meter Chaalu.
The pair, who are also responsible for the film’s script, discusses their future project, saying, “Dukaan is an emotional and thrilling cinematic roller coaster ride into vibrant Gujarat based in the world of commercial surrogacy.” It tells the tale of Jasmine, a local vagrant girl. The movie poses some significant issues regarding the dignity, autonomy, and free will of women who choose to become surrogate mothers through her perspective. Along with Sikandar Kher, Monali Thakur, Soham Majumdar, and Vrajesh Hirjee in intriguing parts, the film’s lead actress is Monika Panwar. Under the names Waveband Productions and Kalamkaar Picture Productions, which are owned by Siddharth Garima, A Jhunjhunwala and S K Ahluwalia, are producing the movie.
