The creators of Allu Arjun’s crime-action saga Pushpa 2 unveiled a new poster along with a significant revelation.
Telugu cinema’s iconic star, Allu Arjun, is ready to enthrall audiences once more in the highly anticipated sequel to his blockbuster hit, “Pushpa.” Directed by the renowned filmmaker Sukumar, “Pushpa 2: The Rule” features the talented actress Rashmika Mandanna, adding to the buzz surrounding the film.

The makers of “Pushpa 2: The Rule” announced on Tuesday about the teaser release date on April 8th, coinciding with Allu Arjun’s birthday. Allu Arjun shared the news on Instagram with a new poster, while the film’s official X handle also shared the poster, stating, “Pushpa 2 The Rule Teaser out on April 8th.
Last year, the team had disclosed the film’s release date through this poster. Allu Arjun shared the post with the caption, “August 15th 2024! Pushpa 2 The Rule.”
Pushpa’s first part portrayed power struggles in red sandalwood smuggling. The sequel stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others.
Allu Arjun, known for versatility, adopts a fierce feminine guise in the movie, akin to Goddess Kaali. Sources hint his look draws from the Gangamma deity worshipped during Tirupati’s May jathara. The reason for this transformation awaits Sukumar’s film release.
Portals speculated Rashmika was paid ₹2 crore for the movie as Srivalli, but later reports revealed a ₹3 crore fee hike post “Pushpa.”
