Every devotee traveling to the Ram Mandir comes with a wish to click pictures with their beloved Prabhu Shree Ram’s idol. But, considering some safety conditions, photography was banned inside the Ram Mandir premises. The Mandir Trust has now established selfie spots along the darshan route in numerous locations in consideration of the devotees’ wish to click pictures along with the Ram Lalla idol. Two selfie spots have been constructed on the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which has embellished and enhanced the monument to the extent of the sanctum sanctorum.

Ban on mobile phones in Ram Mandir
The foundation established this facility for the devotees following the Ram Mandir cell phone ban. Let us inform you that for a few days following Lord Ram’s coronation, members of the religion carried cell phones within the freshly constructed temple. However, over time, the usage of cell phones was outlawed for security reasons.
Phone use is prohibited on the property, according to Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust office in-charge Prakash Gupta. During darshan, devotees were having difficulties with people taking pictures and selfies on the temple grounds. The Ram Mandir Trust has thus implemented a total mobile phone ban. However, there are now two locations on the Janmabhoomi trail where devotees can take selfies.

Priyanka, a devotee who traveled from Banaras to Ayodhya, remarked, “My heart was filled with joy after seeing Ram Lalla.” At the selfie point, I snapped a selfie with Lord Ram, and it felt great. Ram Mandir Trust is operating with great efficiency. Every worshipper wants to snap a picture with their god. Thanks to the trust, this wish has come true.
Nearly six months have passed since Lord Ram was crowned at Ayodhya. Over two crore devotees of Ram have done Puja-Archana since Ram Lalla’s enthronement. More than a lakh worshippers travel to Ayodhya each day to receive a glimpse of Ram Lalla. Every devotee who travels to Ayodhya wants to take a smartphone photo of themselves with Ram.
