Ratan Tata’s “pet” project, the Tata Trusts Small Animal Hospital, was constructed in Mumbai for an estimated Rs 1650000000. Situated on 2.2 acres, it’s one of the few round-the-clock hospitals for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals. “A pet and a family member are the same in today’s world. Ratan Tata told the Times of India, “I understand the necessity for this facility having raised countless dogs during my life.
The Royal Veterinary College London is one of five UK veterinary institutions that have joined with Ratan Tata’s new animal hospital to provide training. In addition to interdisciplinary treatment, the hospital will provide surgical, diagnostic, and pharmaceutical services. The hospital can accommodate 200 patients and is comprised of four floors including ground level. Thomas Heathcote, a British veterinarian, will serve as its leader.
