    Following a minor surgery, veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani was released from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here on Thursday. Today at 2:00 pm, Lal Krishna Advani was released from the hospital. The Statesman was informed by a premier institute official that the patient’s condition was steady.

    Advani was admitted to the AIIMS on Wednesday night. He had previously held the position of seventh Deputy Prime Minister in the administration of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He was housed in the institute’s geriatric unit. The prestigious institution announced in a statement on Wednesday that Lal Krishna Advani had been accepted to AIIMS, New Delhi. He is being watched over and is steady.

    Recognition and Legacy

    President Droupadi Murmu presented the 96-year-old with the nation’s highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna, in March of this year. Advani was praised highly by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who claimed that he had made a significant contribution to India’s progress.

    According to the prime minister, his parliamentary interventions have consistently been outstanding and insightful. Advani had also held the position of BJP national president.

    Lal Krishna Advani, a well-known Indian politician and important member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was born on November 8, 1927. He was instrumental in developing the party’s platform and increasing its political clout. Under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Advani held the position of Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004. His leadership during the 1990 Ram Rath Yatra, which greatly increased the BJP’s popularity, made him most famous.
