The movie was first revealed in February 2022. Principal photography was place in Mumbai, Scotland, London, Luton, Abu Dhabi, and Jordan, with filming wrapping up by February 2024. The shoot started in January 2023. Editor Steven H. Bernard, cinematographer Marcin Laskawiec, and background score composer Julius Packiam all contributed to the music. Vishal Mishra composed the music. DNEG is in charge of the graphics.
The movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will release in theaters on April 10, 2024, coinciding with Eid.
Premise
Firoz and Rakesh, two elite troops, embark on a global quest. They aim to retrieve a weapon stolen from Kabir, a scientist driven by ambition and vengeance. Kabir is eager to utilize artificial intelligence to destroy India.

Production
Development
Pooja Entertainment, known for supporting the 1998 movie of the same name, produced Ali Abbas Zafar’s next action picture. The film stars Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar and was signed in December 2021.The movie hit theaters on February 8, 2022. Zafar served as the screenwriter and director for the film. He also co-produced it under his production company, AAZ Films. Pooja Entertainment collaborated with AAZ Films for its production.
Casting
Manushi Chhillar reunited with Kumar after Samrat Prithviraj (2022) to portray an action-packed role. Prithviraj Sukumaran was cast as Kabir, the primary antagonist, in December 2022. Sonakshi Sinha joined the cast in March 2023. Alaya F and Ronit Roy had already joined the movie in January 2023.
Filming
On January 17, 2023, principal photography got underway at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studios. Before moving to Film City for additional action scenes, the original schedule included filming an action scene on the set of Bunker. Zafar confirmed the first schedule wrap on February 19, 2023.
The second schedule started in the UK on February 28, 2023. It continued till April 12, 2023. It primarily focused on filming in Scotland, London, and Luton. Intense combat scenes showcased tanks, motorbikes, helicopters, and cars. A nighttime action sequence, set in Paisley and portraying Shanghai streets, was recorded. During the filming of a bike pursuit scene, Kumar sustained injuries.
The final schedule commenced in Abu Dhabi on April 16, 2023. Some scenes from the title track were shot at Emirates Palace. Action sequences utilized cars, bikes, tanks, horses, dune buggies, planes, and Chinook helicopters. A replica of an Indian Army airstrip was constructed at Liwa Desert. Except for patching, filming concluded on May 9, 2023.
Bosco-Caesar choreographed the final four songs, featuring Kumar and Shroff. They filmed these songs in Jordan for 12 days, starting on January 21, 2024. Filming began at Jerash’s Roman Theatre and other locations for the title tune. The filming then shifted to the Dead Sea. Prithviraj and Roy joined for a party track and a love track with Kumar, Shroff, Sinha, Chhillar, and Alaya F. The most recent song shoot, an Arabic-style tune, took place in Wadi Rum. Kumar confirmed the schedule wrap on February 1, 2024.
Post-production
DNEG handles the VFX work for the film.
Music
Julius Packiam composed the background soundtrack, Vishal Mishra composed the music, and Irshad Kamil wrote the lyrics for the movie. The first single, titled “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (Title Track),” released on February 19, 2024. Following that, the second single, “Mast Malang Jhoom,” was released on February 28, 2024. Then, on March 13, 2024, the third single, “Wallah Habibi,” was released.

Theatrical
The movie’s release date was revealed in February 2022 as December 22, 2023 (Christmas week). In May 2023, Pooja Entertainment announced the revised Eid 2024 release date.
The film is scheduled for distribution in normal formats, 3D, and IMAX in Hindi. Additionally, dubbed versions of the film will be available. These versions will be in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
