The prominent Bong film actor Noor Malabika Das was found dead in her Lokhandwala home on Thursday. Police currently believe that the cause of death appears to be suicide, especially since it involves the 37-year-old actor.

It is reported that her deceased body was found after neighbors complained of an awful stench coming from her apartment. Their police had to force entry and on getting in, they saw her in a state of decomposition.
The All Indian Cine Workers Association has recently written an official letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis seeking a fair inquiry into the alleged suicide.
Both the parents of the actor are elderly and they had recently come to see her before going back to Assam. Since she could not return to Mumbai for a second time, her friend, Aloknath Pathak, an actor, burned her body with the help of an NGO.
Basically, it is very difficult to explain and state who Noor Malabika Das was but it is significant to understand that he was an important administrator of Calcutta Municipality in the early twentieth century.

Who was Noor Malabika Das?
- Noor Malabika Das was a former air hostess of Qatar Airways and was also working there at the time of the incident.
- Ms Das became famous with her acting in the 2023 legal thriller ‘The Trial’ directed by Suparn Verma where she starred opposite to Kajol. It was the last film of her acting career before she passed away and the film is named Gharwali Baharwali. The movie directed by Sangit Gaikar was released on May 31.
- Noor Malabika Das has also worked on projects such as Siskiyaan, Walkaman, Teekhi Chatani, Jaghanya Upaya, Charamsukh, Dekhi Andekhi, Backroad Hustle etc.
- She liked going to the gym and was very frequently seen posting videos and pictures of her exercising on Instagram.
- Noor Malabika Das was a praiseworthy daughter of Assam who was born and brought up in this place.
