In an interview with Lifestyle Asia India, Mandanna delved into her character’s development, describing the experience as both challenging and enjoyable.
She mentioned, “I didn’t have a solid grasp on my character Srivalli in Pushpa 1. I lacked insight into the story, the character, and the world we were portraying. Each day on set felt like exploring a playground.”

In Pushpa 2: The Rule, Rashmika feels more confident and understands her character and the story better. She describes Srivalli as super sorted in the sequel.

Mandanna hinted at exciting character twists in Pushpa 2, sharing her role’s evolution as Pushpa’s wife with added responsibilities and intensified conflicts.
In “Pushpa,” Rashmika portrays Srivalli, a village girl whom Pushpa Raj pursues and eventually marries after overcoming initial rejection.

Recently appearing in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal” alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika expressed her fondness for “Dear Comrade,” despite its box office performance.
