India vs Canada T20 World Cup: The International Cricket Council has been under fire from supporters for holding matches in Florida, particularly considering the area has been hit by cyclones recently.

The Indian cricket team is on its route to Miami from New York for their last T20 series group-stage encounter against Canada. The focus has moved to the weather as the teams get ready for today’s highly anticipated match, with projections indicating possible flash floods and rain. There is a 50% probability of rain in Florida on Saturday, according to reports, which raises concerns about potential disruptions during the game.

Fans are crossing their fingers for a whole, uninterrupted game even though both teams are hoping for a sunny sky. However, there is a significant chance of rain.

The next three days will see the Group A matches India vs Canada take place in Lauderhill, Florida. These matches are only thirty miles from Miami, thus the weather will probably have an effect as well. In fact, Lauderhill, Florida is expected to get rain on Saturday during both the morning and match hours. As the day wears on, the weather forecast can even get worse.

The good news is that neither team’s status will be impacted if the game is canceled. While Canada has no chance of moving on to the next round, India has already guaranteed a position in the Super 8.

The International Cricket Council has been under fire from supporters for holding matches in Florida, particularly considering the area has been hit by cyclones recently. Florida had strong storms right before the T20 World Cup 2024 got underway.

On Wednesday, June 12, a lot of rain caused several streets in South Florida to flood, which interfered with people’s everyday lives. Social media users are posting a lot of pictures and videos depicting the city’s flooded streets, which highlight the current state of affairs. Fans urged the ICC to move the remaining games that were originally planned to take place in Florida to locations like New York or Dallas, as there were significant rain and flood warnings in effect.
