The first look at his “dream home” in Alibaug was given by former India captain Virat Kohli on Tuesday. Kohli shared the 12-month process of its creation on X, the platform that was once known as Twitter. He discussed the project’s opulent interiors, and garden, and why he chose it without hesitation.

    Design and Amenities

On his social media account, the 35-year-old posted a 62-second video of his new “holiday home” in Awas, which is near Alibaug. Because there wasn’t much tourism there, it was one of the city’s quieter areas and the beaches were cleaner.

“Building my Alibaug home has been a seamless experience, and seeing it all come together is truly gratifying,” he said in the post’s caption. We sincerely appreciate the Avas team for turning our dream house into a reality. I’m excited to spend every second of this time with my loved ones here! Kohli talked about his reasons for choosing the project, the amenities offered, and his favorite feature of his new house in the video.

    Personal Touches and Favorite Features

He said that,”When I heard the plan, the project is very unique in and of itself,” he stated. In addition to having access to all the conveniences you would want in a vacation house, you also enjoy your privacy and a sense of community. In my opinion, your USP is the world-class spa that is located directly next door. For me, it was obvious how all of that would work together. The living area and its openness to the outside are my favorite parts of the house. The house is exquisitely designed, with the interiors and natural light precisely how I like it. It has a sophisticated, understated aesthetic. You may relax and unwind there without worrying about anything”.

After being instrumental in India’s historic victory over the United States in the Twenty20 World Cup on June 29 in Barbados, Kohli is currently taking a vacation from playing cricket for the Indian national team. In the championship match against South Africa, India narrowly defeated them by seven runs thanks to his 59-ball 76.

    Cricket Achievements and Future Plans

Following his celebration obligations in India, which on Thursday included a felicitation event at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and a team meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his New Delhi home, Kohli departed for London to be with his spouse Anushka and their children.

India’s preparation for the 2025 Champions Trophy will begin with a three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka next month, where Kohli was supposed to play. However, a PTI report claims that the selectors want the senior batter, captain Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah fresh for the World Test Championship, so they are likely to rest them for the match.

India will play three Tests against New Zealand, two against Bangladesh, and the highly anticipated five Test Border Gavaskar Trophy match against Australia in Australia’s southern hemisphere.
