A top cop in Panvel received a call informing him of the presence of several gang members of the Bishnoi Lawrence gang living in the Panvel-Kalamboli area, allegedly keeping an eye on Salman Khan’s house in Bandra, his farmhouse in Panvel, and other shooting locations.
As reported in Indian Express, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vivek Pansare revealed that four accused have been arrested in connection with the case. He said that the accused had been plotting to attack the actor for a considerable amount of time and had been residing in Panvel. In connection with the Mumbai attack, a specific query to Pansare elicited this response: “Bishnoi has many groups operating separately, and we believe that one gang was carrying out a reconnaissance of Panvel while another gang is active in Mumbai.

As per News18 Before arresting four of its operatives for reportedly planning to attack actor Salman Khan, the Navi Mumbai police played the espionage game in social media groups including the WhatsApp of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The Navi Mumbai Police that arrested them included; Dhananjay Tapesingh alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Vapsi Khan alias Waseem Chikna, and Rizwan Khan.
This report by the police explains that Kashyap was in contact with someone named Dogar in Pakistan with the intention of obtaining AK-47 guns for the act.
